The Best Car Odor Eliminator Specialists

Smoke odor is one of the more difficult odors to remove from your interior. The nicotine and tobacco can trap itself inside the cloth fibers across your entire interior (in areas you can’t even see).

The two biggest factors in how much odor we can remove will come down to 1) how long it’s been smoked in and 2) how much it was smoked in.

The longer (and more intense) smoking that takes place in the interior, the harder and longer it will take us reduce the odor to a satisfactory level. Unfortunately, if it’s a severe condition from years of heavy smoking, our chances of removing 100% are extremely low.

At that point, we can definitely reduce the smoke odor. To get rid of the smoke odor entirely, it would require you to replace some of the fabric material like the headliner, carpeting, and floor mats.

Intensive Interior Cleaning and Odor Removal Process

For any level of smoke odor, it will not be a quick 3-hour job like you’d find with our Full Interior Cleaning service. We require the vehicle to be dropped off at our shop location for a minimum of two days so we ensure the process is done correctly.

The goal of the service is to not mask the smoke odor with a fragrance or perfume. It’s to remove, reduce and eliminate the layer of nicotine and tobacco that’s left behind from smoking across your interior. This is the only way to ensure long term results. Once we deliver the car to you, we want to make sure the odor is not coming back.

Fortunately, we have tackled some pretty heavy smoke odor vehicles over the last year and we’re completely confident in our process. We can setup a time and date for you to come by our shop so we can inspect the interior and discuss the type of options we can produce for you.

There’s not many places in Phoenix that specialize in proper smoke odor removal. Simply shampooing or steaming the interior is not enough to greatly reduce or eliminate the odor.

If you just have a lingering odor because the interior hasn’t been cleaned in a while, perhaps our Full Interior Cleaning service is a better fit for your needs.

Our Process

Step1
All Surfaces Are Vacuumed

Every surface, like the headliner, under the seats, carpeting, floor mats, will be thoroughly vacuumed

Step2
Extract All Fabric Surfaces

Using our hot water extractor and a tobacco specific cleaner, the seats, carpet, floor mats, seat belts, and if possible, headliner will be shampooed

Step3
Completely Dry Interior

Before we can continue, the interior must be 100% dry. We'll place 3 to 6 air movers across the interior to speed up the drying. Based on the condition, this vary greatly in time.

Step4
Clean All Plastic & Leather Surfaces

Using a specific smoke odor cleaner, all the plastics, leather, and rubber surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned (even the hard to reach areas)

Step5
Clean All Windows & Mirrors

Every interior window and mirror will be cleaned to remove smoke residue and leave a streak-free appearance

Step6
Begin Ozone Treatment

With our commercial grade Ozone machine, we'll run the treatment for 2 to 5 hours depending on the condition and repeat as needed

Cabin Air Filter Replacment

It is absolutely necessary you replace your cabin air filter with a new one. If you keep the old one in, even after we do the entire odor removal process, once you turn on your AC, all the trapped smoke odor in the filter will circulate right back into the interior.

Although it’s only a six-step process, it can take between 10 to 15 hours to completely finish the service. A majority of the time it comes down to waiting for the Ozone treatment to be finished and air out so we can inspect it.

FAQs
Smoke Odor Removal
At this time, we do not remove seats or carpeting for the smoke odor process. Although it would help depending on the condition and severity, we can get to the areas we need with the variety of brushes, steamers, and extractors we have.

It really depends on the condition of the interior and the severity of the smoke odor. Our goal is always to remove as much as we can, and, if possible, eliminate it altogether. If we do our entire smoke odor process and the odor comes back a few days or weeks later, at no extra charge, we’ll do another Ozone treatment.

We do offer mobile detailing services, but due to the extensiveness of the cleaning, we no longer provide this service as a mobile service. The heat, humidity, and debris that gets in the way while being outdoors makes it extremely difficult to do the job properly.

On top of that, the job can take 10+ hours in total to complete over two days. For the best results, we require you to drop off your vehicle at our shop for at least two days.

For odor removal, we use very specific products and equipment to neutralize, reduce, and eliminate smoke odors. This is not just using a generic degreaser or steam cleaner to clean the fabric surfaces. Each step we perform has a purpose to achieve our end goal.

You will not! This is one of the reasons why we require you to drop off the vehicle at our shop. The only way you won’t smell any of the cleaning process is if we give it enough time to air out. We expedite that process by placing multiple air-movers across the interior.

Due to the nature of stains and the material they're on, some will come off better than others. We have extensive knowledge, experience, and use premium tools, products, and machines, but even with all that, if a stain has been there long enough, it can only be cleaned so much.
